Our Story
Many moons ago, Producer and Writer Linda Corley and Director Joel Kaplan met and began collaborating on a multitude of national projects for Public Television. The team help produce cooking shows, a lifestyle series, short films and highly acclaimed documentaries, taking the duo around the world and back again. From the depths of Japan’s verdant bamboo forests to the dazzling beaches of Brazil, the two worked in concert to produce award-winning broadcast productions.
Twenty Emmy awards later, Kaplan and Corley decided it was time to really talk about their new vision, a daydream, you could say. The result is the creation of a boutique production company, Daydream Productions, where their combined talents and experience is evident in their immersive storytelling in documentary as well as in authentic, quality content for their client’s brand.Joel and Linda have also worked for major production companies producing reality series for Lifetime and TLC as well as an award-winning medical series for PBS.
